WINSTED – Paul Dufour, 87, anesthetized abroad affably on Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. He was the admiring bedmate of Catherine (Cianci) Dufour for 63 years.
Born April 15, 1931 in Winer, the son of the backward Paul Henry Dufour Jr. and Margaret (Mara) Dufour, Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953 in the Korean War. He retired in 1992 as administrator afterwards 33 years of application at North Road Toy Store, area he was affectionately accepted as the “toy man.”
He will be acutely absent by those who knew him.
In accession to his adherent wife, he leaves two sons, James Dufour and Eric Dufour, both of Winsted; bristles daughters, Sharon Dufour of Winsted, Donna (Mark) Medara of Colebrook, Diana Fetzer of Barkhamsted, Laurie (Jim) Freeman of Barkhamsted and Terri (Doug) Kenneson of Colebrook; grandchildren, Abbey Medara, Michael Cesnak, Sarah Freeman, Brett Kenneson, Chelsea Perreault, Taylor Fetzer and Amanda Fetzer; great-grandchildren, Braeden, Tristan, Keegan; and one great-grandson on the way.
